Live from Glasgow, Scotland

Greetings Sister,

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing our world today. Its impact disproportionately affects the air, water, and health outcomes for Black communities.   Further, it represents one of the largest growing business sectors in the world and Black businesses are tragically underrepresented in the green economy.

Right now our global leaders are convening at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland. This is the world’s largest conference on climate change and Black Women have a seat at this important table.

Join us to hear from our Vice-Chair, Felicia Davis, President of the HBCU Green Fund, and panelist at COP26, on Monday, November 8, 2021, at 2 pm ET.   She will join us for an important zoom call “Live from Glasgow” to provide a briefing of the conference through the lens of Black people. Journalist and Talk Show Host, Jamila Bey will guide our conversation and facilitate questions.
